Tasty Beats chooses the places in Rome where music is really played and the food is good, and tells you when to go. It is run by Dario Barone and Chiara Bernardi.

WHAT WE DO
We start with the music, then we think about the rest
Tasty Beats collects Rome’s venues where music is the reason to go out: pubs with live bands, jazz clubs, piano bars, karaoke, DJ sets and aperitivos with music. For each venue you’ll find the area, the address, what music is played and what you can eat; for many, also the calendar of nights.
We check the events on the posters and the venues’ channels before publishing them, and we group venues into lists by genre — rock, jazz, karaoke, pubs, DJ sets — so you can start from the music you’re in the mood for tonight and end up at an address.
It is made for people who are looking for a night of live music in Rome and want to know in advance where to go, at what time and whether entry is free. Every Thursday the newsletter sends the weekend’s nights.

It’s not a directory: a venue gets in only if it passes four checks

You don’t pay to get into the guide: the selection is made by the editorial team. Some partner venues pay to promote their nights, and in that case you’ll find them marked as Featured.
